4. Start at one corner or edge and apply the adhesive side of the film to the prepared surface. Slowly peel back more of the backing paper while smoothing the film onto the surface.
5. If there are air bubbles trapped under the film, use a squeegee or credit card to gently push them outwards, starting from the center.
6. Trim excess film around the edges with a utility knife or scissors.
7. Wipe the surface with a cloth or sponge to ensure a smooth, even application.
8. Clean away any soapy water residue.
9. Inspect the surface for any imperfections or issues, fixing them as needed.
